The Friends of the village hall is a scheme put in place to provide a steady reliable income for the hall; to keep it well maintained, functioning efficiently and for future improvements.

WHY BECOME A FRIEND?
Becoming a Friend gives you the opportunity to support the continuing survival of our hall by making a regular annual ‘gift aid’ payment for as little as £1 per week. As well as helping us with your donations, being a Friend will bring additional benefits including discounts and recognition of your support.
WHY GIFT AID?
Basic rate tax can be re-claimed by us on Gift Aid contributions, so every Friend’s donation of £52 per year becomes £65. This means we could generate as much as £2,600 p.a. from 40 friends.
For just £1 a week Friends will:
• Receive advanced notice of all village hall events
• Get a discount of 10% on all ticketed events at the hall
• Be invited to attend a ‘Friends’ annual event
• Be recognised by way of a display of names in the hall
